This year we tried French carrots in brown butter with parsley.

And we tried a new way to serve baby brussel sprouts (Trader Joes): steemed them, then roasted them a bit and oiled them up with a lemon parmesan (touch of Aleppo red pepper!) dressing. We tried Sarah Moulton's make ahead gravy this time and it worked great! And Ani tried Milk Street's salt and powdered buttermilk dry brining (paywall blocked but Chris's video is viewable. We love Chris Kimball and his Milk Street creation!)
