so little time to use them...
[and since the web took over our lives, less motivation]
Marcella Hazan (Italian) and Linda
Chirinian (Armenian, Lebanese, Persian) are the two gems in our collection.
This is a bit outdated by modern technology.
cooking magazines
- Cooking Light
- We were subscribers since 1993 and found it to be the most
usable of our cooking subs because of our health conscious awareness.
Abandoned after about 25 years.
- Bon Appetit [Epicurious.com]
- We were subscribers since 1984 (!) and continued to enjoy it for about 25
years until breaking the habit, with or without health
worries. Remember, balance and moderation is the key. One individual recipe is not your
diet.
- Gourmet [Epicurious.com]
- This is one we occasionally impulse buy at the checkout counter. Sadly
this mag died.
- Food&Wine
- This is a web latebloomer also in the occasional impulse buy category, arriving on the
internet scene only in 1999, beating the turn of the century though.

This is more like an incomplete inventory of the dr bob cooking team cookbook collection and not a bibliography in the usual
sense of the word. Although some of these have been mined for treasures, the inclusion of
a cookbook in this list only indicates that it was probably glanced at before shelving.
Future editions may see some well deserved paring down of the list.
